yes. another pessimistic stamp. i am a very pessimistic person.
I'm SICK of seeing stamps that diss the Twilight quartet and their vampires. Yes, i dislike the sparklies among other things, but the books are still really good!
Vampires are one of those creatures with a set mythical standard that can be fooled with by their creator. Stephenie Meyer did nothing wrong with her vampires; they're just her's. its the same as an original character.
In a new book im writing myself, my vampires arent changed, or even in themselves a different species, theyre just humans with the psyche to want blood and such; thats not bad, its just a different rendition )< if people just keep using the same ideas over and over, it gets boring and people start accusing of stealing.
flamers get blocked. Twilight and all charris associated (C) to stephenie meyer.
i dislike twilight. :] not because of the characters necessarily, but rather their decisions in the book. and her use of ellipses. 8D ily. xD

The fact is, there are ALWAYS going to be extremists - which basically means there are always going to be people who hate what you write, your characters etc.
And while I agree that there can be something new added to something that has been done many times, like vampires, that doesn't mean your change will be liked. You will always have purists who will balk at the idea of, say, a vampire who can age.
Personally, if you can't handle having your characters criticized, you probably shouldn't be in the writing industry.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
